Lightning Kite, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the InstaClub mobile application
and web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we
collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information You Provide
When you register for an account or use the Service, we may collect the following information directly from you:
- Name — your first and last name, used for account identification and display within the app.
- Email Address — used for account authentication, communication, and notifications.
- Phone Number — used for account verification and optional contact purposes.
- Photos — profile photos and booth/facility documentation photos you upload through the Service.
- Payment Information — credit card and billing details required to process membership payments and reservations. Payment information is processed and stored by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and is not stored on our servers.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, certain information may be collected automatically:
- Device Identifiers — we collect device tokens through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications about reservations, membership status, and other Service updates.
- Location Data — with your permission, we collect location data to verify your proximity when unlocking facility doors. Location data is used only at the time of the unlock request and is not stored long-term.
- Usage Analytics and Telemetry — we may collect telemetry data such as page views, feature usage patterns, performance metrics, and session information via OpenTelemetry or similar analytics tools. This data helps us understand how the Service is used and improve its performance and reliability.
- Error and Crash Reports — we use Sentry or similar error-tracking services to collect crash reports, error logs, and diagnostic information. This data may include device type, operating system version, app state at the time of the error, and stack traces. This information is used solely to identify and fix bugs and improve Service stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account.
- To process membership payments and reservations.
- To send push notifications about bookings, membership updates, and facility access.
- To verify your location for door unlock functionality.
- To communicate with you regarding your account, support requests, and Service updates.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service's features, performance, and user experience.
- To detect, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and errors.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate and improve the Service:
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for secure data hosting and storage infrastructure.

- OpenTelemetry-compatible providers — for usage analytics and performance monitoring.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may disclose your information in the following limited circumstances:

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect
your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or
destruction. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, and
regular security reviews.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission
over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot
guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as
needed to provide you the Service. We may also retain certain information as
required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes
and enforcing our agreements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Correction — you may access and update your personal information through your account settings in the app.
- Data Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@lightningkite.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain certain data.
- Push Notifications — you can opt out of push notifications through your device settings at any time.
- Location Data — you can disable location access through your device settings. Note that disabling location access may prevent you from using the door unlock feature.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware
that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take
steps to promptly delete such information. If you believe we may have collected
information from a child under 13, please contact us at

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise
the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this
Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your
information. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your
acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
